Ghosts of Garvanza is a 2-½ hour True Crime Walking Tour which offers a scenic, entertaining and fascinating way to see a darker side of this interesting community in Northeast Los Angeles.
On this tour you will visit the scenes of both infamous and forgotten crimes and hear about the notorious and colorful characters of Garvanza of the past.
You will visit the site where the first Constable of Garvanza was killed when he led a posse of men on horseback down to the Arroyo to settle a neighborhood dispute. You will see where an incorrigible daughter rejected her absentee father’s first attempts at parenting, with deadly results.
You will see where a family of doctors turned their Garvanza office into an impromptu graveyard. And that is just the beginning.
