THE GREAT FILM CLUB is a short film open mic fest.
DOORS OPEN OCT FROM 7:30-11PM.
PROGRAM START @ 8PM
MEET AND GREET MIXER @10PM
Celebrate the Halloween season with us while supporting short films and meeting filmmakers! This event is an approximate 2 hour program of short films and then a 1 hour mixer with fellow filmmakers to connect and create community.
Since Halloween is coming up!
*WE HIGHLY ENCOURAGE HORROR FILMS TO SUBMIT AND WE HIGHLY ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO DRESS UP IN COSTUME FOR THIS EVENT!*
*WE WILL BE HAVING A COSTUME CONTEST DURING THE MIXER AND WINNER GETS FREE ADMISSION TO OUR SHORT FILM OPEN MICS FOR THE YEAR!*
*WE ALSO BE HAVING A SHORT FILM COMPETITION! COLLABORATE WITH ANYONE WHO ATTENDS THE GREAT FILM CLUB AND MAKE A HORROR FILM UNDER 10 MINS. WINNERS WILL GET ONE FREE BURRITO FOR EACH MONTH FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR! ALSO WILL PRESENT A LIVE Q&A FOR THAT WINNING SHORT THE DAY OF SCREENING! SUBMIT BY OCT 17TH AND WILL SCREEN ON THE 19TH!*
SUBMIT YOUR SHORTS RULES: We encourage all short films submissions to be under 10 min long. Any films that exceed up to 10 mins can still be up for consideration as long as they are incredibly great but for a higher chance of showing that night it's best to have it under 10 mins. No short films over 30 minutes. Any film that is clearly offensive and shows no artistic integrity or inappropriate will not be considered.
